Great Mask but it dried out!

I absolutely love this mask its probably my holy grail aside from the Clinique Oil control mask, the only downside is that it dried out on me pretty fast and I was left with a cement rock hard substance. I was so disappointed because I didn't even get to use half of it. Aside from that its great for oily acne prone skin, really cleans out all that nasty stuff in pores. Body shop please fix whatever it is that is in this mask that makes it dry up so fast so I can re-purchase.

Great Mask

I've only used this product 4 times as I've only had it for about 2 weeks. It works though! I have oily skin and I notice when I use this product that my pores look more refined and I'm not as oily as fast. I have nothing bad to say about the product other than it is a little on the pricey side so I wait til they have a sale to buy it.

Best Mask I Ever Purchased

I can honestly say this is my favorite face mask I've ever used. I've read reviews disliking the scent of this, but I think it smells oceany and fresh. A little goes a long way, and it's only a weekly mask, so I can safely assume I will have enough for AT LEAST another six months, after purchasing it about three weeks ago. Not only does this cleanse my pores, it actually makes them look smaller after I wash it off, which is an amazing bonus that I did not expect. If you are looking for a great mask to clean up your skin appearance, THIS IS IT!

Odor way too strong

I suffer from adult acne and am under the care of a dermatologist; therefore, I am choosy about the products I use--some acne products can be very irritating and harm more than help! This mask is one of the best I've used: comes in a jar and is easy to apply, dries quickly and rinses cleanly. I am anxious to see if it actually "mattifies" in the hot, humid summer months, but that will have to wait a few months (c'mon summer!) I like the entire Seaweed line of products.

Out of all the masks I've tried at The Body Shop, this is by far my favorite. It's very wet, but thick at the same time, and easy to apply, and I love how it dries on your face! A little goes a very long way. My skin looks amazing after I use it, and this is definitely helping clear my face up also. I absolutely love it, and can't recommend it enough. So far, I've been using it a couple times a week because I can't get enough of it, but weekly would be fine as well.

Unlike the blue corn mask, this mask is divine!! I love the slight cool and tingly sensation you achieve while applying. I love that you feel everything tightening up and see the gunk coming out. It leaves my skin radiant and shine free. Not to mention super smooth. Even got my boyfriend hooked!

I use this product every 2 weeks. the result is great. i can see my pores are tighten up and my skin is smoother. the only thing i don't like is the odor. It is way too strong.

A Purifying Wonder!!!

This maskis totally fantastic!!! I use this only about twice per month, but once per week would be fine for oily skin. It does not DRY skin like a sulfate cleanser would; skin is fresh clean and feels lighter, much less "clogged" and just, well, pure!! pores are minimized; seaweed is amazing for skin and in combination with the clay in this mask: natural beauty!! Has helped keep blemishes at bay in conjunction with the pure tea tree oil and the ingredients in this mask are extremely natural and safe. Thanks TBS! a real hit!

This stuff is magic!

Seriously. I use it twice a week and it makes my skin fantastic. If I have any zits (which have been few and far between since I started using this line! WHOO!) this clears them up twice as fast as anything I've used before. It makes my skin look so pretty and glowing, and it feels awesome! Since i've started using only face care products from the seaweed skincare line, my acne has cleared up, my skintone is more even, and my pores are smaller! Yay!

Perfect Line

This entire line is AMAZING.
Aside from that, this mask is beyond wonderful.
It was the first item I got from the Sea Weed line (I have every product in the line) and it had me go back to buy everything else!
I was at Body Shop with my sister & said I wanted this mask but didn't really want to drop $22, I went to another store and could not find another mask so I had to drive all the way back to The Body Shop and got this.
It was one of the best skin decisions of my life!
When I have it on, it feels like I'm getting a face massage, when I rinse it off, my skin looks airbrushed.
It is unspeakable smooth, my pores are almost invisible and my skin feels so smooth I cannot keep my hands off of it!
The mask containers seem quite small, but I've had this same one for about 3 months. I use it once weekly and it still seems like I've got at LEAST 3 more months.
It lasts unbelievably long & does wonders for my skin.
I've had a few people tell me my skin is glowing.
I cannot say enough about ALL the products from the Body Shop!
I've switched from Dior make up to The Body Shop & all my body washes and skin care are from here also.

LOVE ALL THINGS SEAWEED

This is a powerful mask! The first time I used this mask, my skin purged! I had no clue that my skin was that bad... And although my skin purged, my skin immediately looked more radiant and less dull and within a couple days, my skin had cleared up and my friends and family were complimenting me on how clear my skin was. The seaweed line is so clarifying and cleansing! LOVE this mask!

Had to review this product, it's that great. The first time I used it, I saw results. It actually pushed a blemish out and it disappeared within the next day. I also saw my pores become smaller the next morning. I have combination skin, oily n my t-zone and dry on the sides. It has helped so much in evening out my skin, and making my pores almost invisible. It also helps with any blemishes that start appearing or are already there. My holy grail skin products include this, the deep cleansing facial wash, the purifying facial lotion/wash, the night lotion and the seaweed mattifying day cream. I use this product 2-3x a week @ night, the deep cleansing every night along with the night cream. And the purifying wash with the day cream every morning. My skin has cleared up 100% and the softness and glow I've got is amazing. I will repurchase all of the seaweed line products for as long as I can! Well done TBS!

I had to review this product...I am very oily. I wake up in the morning and it looks like someone put baby oil all over my face. In additition, my pores on my face seem to have enlarge. However, since I have been using the Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask.....my oily face getting under control and my pores look soooo much better. Now the directions say use twice a week but I have been using it about 3 or 4 times a week. This is a great product and it smells great!!!! Good job TBS!!!

Stands Up to Other Top Brands

I am a beauty junkie, especially when it comes to skincare. Name a mask (especially a clay one) that has been featured in beauty reviews online or magazines and I've tried it. This mask stands up to other holy grail products myself and beauty editors swear by even stacking up with very expensive reputable brands. It shrinks the pores, reduces blemishes, and prevents blackheads and whiteheads from forming with regular use. I use it once or twice a week depending on the weather and time of month. I also have been known to use it when I feel a breakout coming on (hormonal) and it will cut that right out. In light of the fact that it compares to other top brands, and the amount of product for the price, I think this is an excellent value.
Like most clay masks, you can really see the areas where your face is producing excess oil as you watch it dry by finding the "dark spots" in the mask. That's fun. The smell isn't that bad - defiantly worth the results IMO.

Dry Cleaning For The Pores

I bought this in sale, but it's definitely worth buying full price! The product is so dense, that the 5.5 OZ will last quite a while. For a clay mask it doesn't apply patchy, which is great. I can still move my face as it's drying. I don't feel like it's to tight or pulling my skin.
Now the actually cleansing or product claim part. I leave this on for about 15 minutes. I go in the mirror and with the grayish toned mask there's a bunch of black/brown spots on my face. You can actually see the dirt that is being taken away from the skin! I wash it off and my skin feels smooth. Each time I use it I feel like my cheek pores are getting smaller since there isn't so much junk in them.
Amazing product. If you have acne, definitely give this a try!

Miracle worker

I sometimes get hormonal acne around my chin and I think it has been building up a layer of gunk in my pores and such for awhile. I started using the mask and no joke my skin improved almost completely. It took all the impurities out just like it said it would and I use it every single night before I go to bed now. And I plan on continuing to use it for a long time. It is my favorite Body Shop product hands down.

Cleanses impurities

I like this mask a lot. When I put it on I can see the bits of grime getting pulled out of my pores. It also smell really good and leaves my skin looking and feeling better. It has also lasted me a LONG time. My only complaint is that it dries out quickly in the container so you have to add water, and it can be kind of thick. Still love it though!

Ionic technology really pulls out impurities and shrank black heads after first use. Very little product needed for each use. Even though a little pricy, it should last a while.
