Love this stuff

I've always liked the look of rosy stained lips, but I've never found any that lasted like this one does. I put it on my lips and put clear lip gloss over it and it's a different look than just using a pink or red lip gloss, more young and sexy. I also use this as blush, and it lasts and looks natural. It goes on smoothly and easily for me if I'm wearing makeup over a moisturizer. It's a little trickier on naked skin. I definitely recommend this!

Really love this stuff!

This is a wonderful gel that spreads beautifully and looks very natural. I am fair-skinned with an olive undertone, and this color works miracles on my pale complexion - have yet to try on my lips. Just purchased a small truck-load of these from the website: that's how much I love this product. Thanks, Body Shop! :-)

Best phony natural look!

Yesterday, I was in a rush to get somewhere and was able to quickly apply the stain on my cheeks and lips. It's easy to apply and I liked the results! It gave me a fresh and natural look. Though, I did notice, later, that my fingertips were stained as well.
i can see myself using this daily. It's convenient during the work week when I have the daily morning rushes. Now that I have this, I can sleep in during the work week and quickly apply my moisturizer, apply this on my cheeks and my lips- and that's that.
It's quick and convenient, easy to apply, and minimizes the makeup routine in the morning. It's a total win-win situation for me- I just have to remember to wash it off my fingertips the next time I use it.

bought it last week in rose pink. perfect as a lip stain or blush. i used a tester first in the store as a blush and it stayed on for more than 8 hours and looked natural. went next day and bought it. used it as a lip stain and was in love. the only thing to do was to put gloss or vaseline on top of the stain to make it perfect for day time look. The trick is to put the stain on bare and dry lips and let it dry and then put the gloss or vaseline. the lip stain lasted whole day. definitely will be buying more. i hope they will not discontinue it.

So disappointed...

I have been looking for a lip tint/stain for a while because I don't like heavy lip sticks but I want staying power. This did nothing for me! I tried doing exactly as the video tutorial instructed by using a finger to dab it on and it looked like I had been sucking on a red popsicle. Also tasted pretty bad.

Stays on very well

Really like the Lip & Cheek stain a lot! I'm one of those women who does not like to have to keep applying makeup on throughout the day. It only took a couple of experimental trial runs to get this right on both lips and cheeks. The pink tint looks very good on me...like a natural blush.

This is an amazing product. Even after the initial product wears off your lips stay tinted all day. I have used it for years on my daughter's lips and cheeks. For family events it gives that rosy lip look without making her look all made up. I just add a little balm or light gloss over the top of it for her lips. I also use it under lip stick or lip gloss for competition type events. I use it the same way for myself. If I have a day of meetings I will wear it under balm. If I am going for family pictures or an evening out I wear it under gloss. Don't put on to much. A little goes a long way. That said I have tried other stains but always come back to this one. It is great for cheeks too!

When I opened it, I think this thing is gross. The color looks quite different with the picture.
I tried on, It feels like I'm putting red ink on my lips. But, guess what. I totally love this item.

I love this product! I apply a little bit of it on my cheeks and distribute it with sponge. I`m very pale and most blushes look unnatural on my skin, but not this one, it gives nice glow and looks very natural. I purchased the 3rd one already.

I was a little skeptical about this product because I'm not used to having color on my lips at all. I just apply lip balm and go. But I love the color that it leaves and I like how I can control how deep I want it to be. My skin tone is medium-deep and the color doesn't look artificial on me, it looks quite natural. I've only used the color on my lips though, haven't taken that step to try it on my cheeks.
I will say that by the end of the day, it's pretty much gone. I teach so I really don't have time to reapply. Even so, it leaves my lips feeling smooth and I don't have to use my balm that much.....and I used to apply balm pretty much every hour during the day. I will be a loyal user.

I have used this stain for years and I love, love, love it! It stays forever, you can use it as blush too -- which is great -- and the color is perfect -- it looks really red on the screen, but it becomes a perfect blushy lip shade when you put it on....or add an extra coat for that va-va-voom red look.
I would suggest using a lip balm over it, it doesn't moisturize at all, but that is the only thing you will be reapplying is the lip balm because the color will stay.

Best Blush Made & Best Body Shop Product

This lip & cheek stain is the one product I could never live withou! I have tried any cheek stain I could find for over ten years (and paid over $50 for one product) & nothing comes close. It makes cheeks have a healthy, natural color- as if you'd "pinched them pink" like in the old days. It is a liquid, so doesn't cake or crease, can easily control amount of color by blending in or applying more, works with foundation, or without, lasts entire day without rubbing off or irritating skin. Many stains set instantly and if put on too much- it's hard to fix, but this stain is less concentrated, allowing you to control how deep color is by layering (same for lips). I have very fair skin and most blush makes me look like a clown- this instead I get compliments on how naturally pretty it looks and many don't believe I'm wearing anything at all- just "naturally" have pretty glow (which is not true). Everyone I know who has tried it loves it- despite different skin tones and make-up styles. This product main reason I shop at the Body Shop!

sticky, thick, uncomfortable and a synthetic looking bright beet color. Also, it does not stain.... so, completely worthless, sorry to say, even if you like the color.

Doesn't do anything

This is the one product of many that I do not like from TBS. It doesn't stain, it doesn't gloss, it just goes on and disappears. It would be wonderful for a magic trick, but it is a non-item in my beauty bag. Very disappointing.

The best lip/cheek stain ever

I have been using this lip stain for years and absolutely love it.
It looks darker in the tube than it will be on your lips but is perfectly natural looking on lips and cheeks. It's important to let it dry on your lips before applying any other lip product over it.
On Cheeks I lightly blend it into my skin with my fingertips then allow to dry before applying anything else on your face.
It will stain your fingertips so remember to immediately wash your hands after applying. You may have to re-apply to lips after eating and drinking as it fades a little but this stain does really last longer than others I have tried over the years. Perfect for kissing because it isn't sticky, doesn't rub off and your man will never know you have anything on your lips.
I highly recommend this as a staple and buy more than one tube so you can carry one in your purse, one at home and maybe one left in your desk at work. LUV, LUV, LUV it!!!!

I think this product is great! It is like a liquid so it feels light and the application is easy with the wand. I did not find it sticky at all. You have to let it dry before you put any gloss on top of it - I found some would have an effect on the life of the color but not all do. Try not to press your lips together before it dries that also helps. You can also layer it but let it dry between applications. I've tried other products and this one does not effect how my lips feel - To me--- that is great! It looks red in the bottle but it isn't it looks rosey on my lips and more natural depending on how much you use- the more layers you use the darker it gets.

A daily staple!

I use this stain daily, under all of my lipstick. Makes sure my lips always have a little bit of color and gives me a great base for any lip color I wear. Even works well under a gloss! Love it!
