THE ONE!!

I'm not kidding when I say that I found "the one". This cream has done wonders for my face. I love that its a cream, but not so thick like a cream. TBS did a great job at making this moisturize all day, without the greasy feeling and without the goopy thickness! Also, my makeup applies beautifully! No more rough patches or dry nose for me! If you have very dry, sensitive skin, give this cream a try!

i like this moisturizer after i wash my face. its kinda stingy when u apply it on top of an acne fighting product but it does go away soon after. its very smooth and easy to spread all over my face.

-For reference, I am 21, female, and have very pale, combination skin. It's not oily in the typical T-zone pattern, though - I get oily on parts of my cheeks and jawline the most, and dry on parts of my cheeks and forehead. My jawline is prone to very poor texture and very clogged skin, though I only occasionally have mild acne. When needed I use AHA under my moisturizer to spot-clarify or treat my jaw, generally at night.-
I was weekend-traveling and left my regular (non-TBS) moisturizer and toner behind, so I dropped by a store in a local mall and picked this up.
I don't exactly have sensitive skin, but I have problem skin that is sensitive to change and tends to have issues flare up when routines change or products are added, so I wanted to get something mild which would do in a pinch rather than experiment with something corrective which might in the long run better suit my needs.
Also, I was not looking for SPF - I use a separate handmade physical block minimal-ingredient sunscreen as a moisturizer if I am going to go outdoors in the daytime, as almost every sunscreen or product with sunscreen that I have ever tried has either broken me out horribly or not prevented sunburns (and chemical block makes me break out and sunburn in weird dappled patches).

I had just washed my face (also a non-TBS product) before heading to the store, so I put this on in the car right after buying. It was instantly soothing and my face only needed a tiny bit all over, even in the drier spots, so it'll definitely last and be a good value.
While it was light enough that I didn't feel gooey even without my toner, I think for me this would work much better in winters. I did feel a little oilier than I'm used to on my second day of using it (this time with my regular toner). No new acne or other issues to speak of, though! I switched to nighttime use when my skin is dry for now. In summer this will probably be too heavy for me, even at night. I'm from a drastic season-change climate with ultra-dry cold windy harsh winters and sticky humid gross hot summers, so lightweight is key in summer and not nearly enough in winter.
I would say that this moisturizer is lightweight if you have normal or dry skin, but just a tad heavy with combination/oily skin.

Bottom line: I would absolutely recommend this as a summer moisturizer for dry skin or a winter moisturizer for oily skin, and it's certainly a good value (a little goes a long way, and I like tub designs as they are easier to get product out of when it gets sparse). It is a part of my nighttime routine when I need to combat dryness for now, due to my skin needs calling for something a little bit more lightweight in the daytime.

The cons to this product is that it feels a bit sticky and it smells pretty bad. The good things about this product is that it is a good day moisturizer. It doesn't burn my sensitive skin which is wonderful! And it lasts a while. I want to try a new day moisturizer though.

GREAT RESULTS IN ONE WEEK

I don't wear make-up. So, as I get older, I wanted to find something that would make my skin look healthier and my "experience lines" diminish. When I received this product, I was a bit disappointed in the size. However, I have been using it every day for two months, and am just having to reorder. It doesn't take much at all, and lasts a lot longer than you would expect.
The smell is non-existent. It goes on very light and is not greasy. After one week of use, I could see a difference in the appearance of my skin, and the lines were beginning to disappear. If you have sensitive skin, this is a GREAT product! I combine it with the Aloe Eye Defense (which also lasts longer than you would expect) and have never been happier!

Perfect for Sensitive Skin

I started using the aloe line when my dermatologist recommended a gentle skin care line while using Tazorac (retinoid cream for acne). The cream has a light, fresh scent and isn't greasy or doesn't clog my pores. As a day cream, I wished it contained SPF so I mainly just use it at night.

Awesome moisturizer!

I switched from the Vitamin E cream about 4 month ago. The best thing with this Aloe cream is it's simply moisturizing. My skin becomes super stable, no breakouts, no irritation, no redness. Awesome product! Love it!

Great Day Cream

I have very sensitive skin and this is nice on my skin. No irritation. Good moisturizer. Light without fragrance. Really good day cream. I found it by first buying the travel kit and loved everything in it.

The Aloe Day Cream is my all time favorite product. I have very sensitive, dry skin and this cream is gentle and soothing. I love that it never leaves my face greasy or feeling coated and yet lasts most of the day. I can even use it if I have a sunburn or dry patch. The only complaint i have is the container is so small and spendy for my small budget, but no worries... I will continue buying it anyway! I hope this product never disappears!!!

Great for sensitive skin

Perfect for sensitive skin

I have rosacea which leaves me with very sensitive skin. I have to be so careful not to buy a product that is harsh and makes the redness on my face even worse! This is the perfect solution for me. It does not have a strong scent, absorbs quickly, and leaves my skin very soft without being heavy or oily. It also doesn't sting or burn like some products I've tried! I would definitely purchase this product again.

Great Moisturizer

I have fair/light sensitive skin and this day cream was recommended to me because of my reddening and dryness that would occur during winter. I like this because 'a little goes a long way.' I put it on after I freshly wash my face and its very light and doesn't clog my pores. By far the only cream that doesn't break me out and it feels light and refreshing with no bad odors.

I found this product as my sister let me borrow her's on vacation. I've been hooked ever since! I'm a lotion/potion junkie and occasionally have product overload. This face cream brings everything back into balance. It's like gold in our house. I usually find it in my 14 year old daughters bathroom. We both love it. If you tend to 'cocktail' your facial regime this is a perfect, back to balance cream. I recently read an article in ALLURE magazine that stressed the importance of keeping your skin barrier healthy and moist to prevent aging and other skin defects. This product does it simply and perfectly!

Sensitive & dry combination skin

I have tried so many hypoallergenic & sensitive skin products. My face gets really dry in some places and really dry in others and it's hard to find a product that gives enough moisture for my dry patches without making my oily patches even more oily...WHILE keeping my face from drying out, breaking out or getting irritated.
I had been going through products for about a month trying to find one that would make my already irritated, broken out, dried out face go back to normal. After trying origins and clinique I decided to try this and the aloe calming facial cleanser.
I saw and felt a difference within the first day of using it. My face didn't burn during or after cleansing, it wasn't tight before I put the moisturizing cream on, and wasn't DRY, OILY, FLAKY OR IRRITATED after using these two products.
My face cleared up and went back to normal within 3 days.
