Safe and Effective

When I was pregnant I was looking for a more natural product to use on my baby after seeing all the information about chemicals in baby bath products. After doing my research I chose the Buriti line and we have loved it so far! It gets our daughter clean and the smell is amazing!
The only negative thiing I can say about it is right after I put it on my daughter her skin feels slightly sticky but that is gone within a few minutes and she is silky soft!
Unlike the other reviewers I don't find the smell to be overpowering and I'm very senstive to perfumey smells!

Silky smooth and absorbs quicky, but.... not something that I would ever put on myself, hate the smell. Applied one time to my twin sons...
Would not recommend for any baby!!

Gentle & Silky Lotion for Baby

We received some Buriti Baby products as a gift when our 2nd child was born. She doesn't seem to have the same sensitive skin as her brother, but maybe that is in part because we have only used Buriti Baby on her??
This lotion goes on so smoothly and soaks right up, and leaves my tiny girl's skin so soft and not at all greasy!
The smell is a bit strong, as another reviewer wrote, but it's not bad- I have come to associate it with "baby smell" now.
A little pricey, now that I am buying more for her, but we strive to use natural, gentle products and unfortunatley those cost more than the chemical-filled big brand name products. Our kids are worth it!

My daughter has pretty sensitive skin and any lotion (no matter the claims) broke her out with the exception of fragrance free stuff. I wanted to try this lotion because it was made of good stuff but it does have a strong smell which made me think it wouldn't work.
It works great, my daughter isn't as ashy (we're black so you can see the ash when her skin is dry) and she hasn't broken out from any of the ingrediants. I actually like the smell and will be buying some more when her current bottleruns out.

Good lotion, TOO smelly!

I purchased the Buriti Baby wash, shampoo, and lotion for my son and cannot use them because they are so heavily perfumed they give me a headache. Babies especially don't need so much scent! The lotion seems to moisturize well enough, but it is essentially useless and a waste of money to me, because I cannot stand the smell. The Aloe Body Butter is a much better choice for baby moisturizer, I think.
