Skin Changing

I started using this foundation and within a week it totally changed the texture of my skin. It went from dry to moisturized and smooth. I was outside this weekend not wearing any makeup and my husband touched my face and asked me what I was doing different to my skin because it looked really terrific. That made me grin from ear to ear! Buy this product right away ladies. I promise you will be amazed.

Great Puchase

Great product.. I just dropped in to get some body butter & checked out this cream compact and thought I'd try it out ... I ABSOLUTELY Love it .. I have oily skin, large pores ..WOW .. I have seen a big difference in my skin.. my pores are reduced and when I wear this make up, it doesn't fade, it stays on all day, my face is not oily after 2 hrs .. It works GREAT for me.. I'm online purchasing another .... :)

Transformed my skin

This was my first ever purchase from TBS: I was looking for natuaral-ingredient-based makeup in a cream/matte form: not easy to find!!
This is completely blendable: I literally just use my (clean) finger to apply; the brush included is not-so-appropriate for this product and yes, the packaging here could be a bit less wasteful and more compact, but these slight flaws in packaging design are totally overshadowed by the amazing benefits of this product. My skin is so incredibly soft since I began using this, even when I remove it at night and on the days I don't apply it! Its totally non-comedogenic for those of you who are wondering (not sure if this is mentioned in the description). This is moisturizing, but skin never looks greasy. Totally awesome!!! My only other request/minor complaint is that the lightest shade (102) offered is still a bit too dark for my skin in the wintertime: it make me look a bit more "tan" than I am: still offers a nice glow and I can work with it, but please TBS, offer this compact in a lighter shade for all the fair-skinned gals like me!!!!
Also, my friends compliment my complexion all the time; noone ever thinks I'm wearing makeup because this so elegantly covers dark spots, dark circles and small blemishes. <3 TBS

IN LOVE WITH THIS

My friend showed this to me on a class trip to Williamsburg, she even introduced The Body Shop to me since we both have bleeding hearts for animals, and TBS doesn't test on them and are strongly against it. Anyway, this is a fantastic product and and is worth the money if you can get it on sale ( i paid $12.50 ), I would recommend this to everyone, it also works great for covering up little face blemishes. THIS IS A MUST BUY!!!! I <3 TBS!!!!!!

Not a Fan

I tried the original and the Extra Virgin foundations and was really not a fan of either. I found the compact to be streaky and cakey. It felt heavy and really highlighted every wrinkle and crease on my face. I would not recommend of buy any of the foundation productions of the body shop (disappointed to say that, because i LOVE LOVE LOVE the skin care lines).

Great Product, Too Much Packaging & Useless Brush

First of all, I love the product. What I don't like is the brush. It is terrible, I also feel there is a TON of packaging for a small amount of product. It is $25.00 and if I am lucky I will get 2 months. Usually I get around 4 months from a foundation. I love the coverage and the way it looks. Ditch the brush. You don't need one. Then increase the amount of product and reduce the amount of plastic used on the packaging. I am surprised that such a wonderful company like The Body Shop would be so wasteful with a package.

My Absolute Favorite Foundation!

The Overall Rating Really Should be a 5.....but the brush it comes with is horrible!
That aside, this foundation is so creamy and goes on smoothly. It doesn't cake and it leaves me with a polished look without being too heavy.
I recommend this to anyone who is struggling to find the perfect foundation. I have tried SO many and really love the consistency and medium coverage of the Mineral Foundation!!

The Best....

I love trying different make ups not tested on animals. This is THE BEST creamy foundation I have ever used. It makes my skin look younger and more vibrant. Please bring it back into stock. I'm all out and don't know what to use now, I'm hooked!!

Great foundation- AWFUL BRUSH

The foundation is great for dry skin and it has great coverage of the skin's flaws. However, the brush is the worst part of this product. It falls apart very quickly. The bristles stuck to the foundation and I couldn't get it out. The bristles also stuck to my face. All in all- a big mess. PLEASE FIX THIS BRUSH!!

Too heavy for me

I tried this on in store and it is a bit heavy for me. I normally wear tinted moisturizer and this felt like I was wiping clay on my face. It is more full coverage then I had expected. Would recommend if you want something more full coverage.

Needs lots of improvement

I love tbs but this product was very disheartening. The quality of foundation was ok n the color goes well with my skin but the bristle of the applicator keeps coming out n have made a huge mess on the compact.
Moreover the bristles gets stuck to face also while applying, making it more difficult to work with. Tbs have amazing body products but needs a lot of improvement in their cosmetic range.

Love the Foundation... Dislike the Brush

I really enjoy this foundation. It is light but provides good coverage and does not appear "heavy" on the skin.
The brush though is sub-par. It fell completely apart half way into using the foundation. I started using a different brand brush to apply the foundation, which works well but means I can't take this compact on the go.
I hope TBS will look into improving the brush!

Awesome makeup but the brush :-(

I love this make up, it is super easy to put on and has great coverage. It does feel thick when I first put I smooth it with a round sponge then spray vitamin C spritz on and it's good for the rest of the night shift. The makeup stands up to the running around of a nurses night shift defiantly my favorite everyday makeup.
The brush on the other hand fell apart halfway through putting on makeup on my vacation. Body shop please fix the brush.

Disappointed

I was disappointed to see that the color shown online did not match the actual color. The color appears to be ideal for a woman of brown complexion, but when I received the makeup I realized it is actually true to its name, Golden Caramel. I was looking forward to trying a new foundation but unfortunately I will have to return this.

Not the best foundation

I am a huge fan of the loose powder in the Extra Virgin minerals line, but sometimes I want a little extra coverage so I thought I would try this. Unfortunately it is very oily on my skin. It feels heavy, which is odd because it doesn't go on heavy. You definitely need the loose powder to go over this foundation because it is far too oily. I can't recommend this product because I have never used a foundation product that felt so oily on my skin.

love the makeup - hate the brush

The foundation is fantastic. I was worried when they switched over but my skin doesn't adversely react (thank goodness!). Word of warning though - the brush just disintegrates. I have gone through a couple compacts and every time, without fail, the brush falls apart before the makeup is finished.

I really love this foundation and the brush is great before it falls apart. It only lasts about halfway through the use of the compact. I am just going to try the bottled foundation and see which one lasts longer since the brush design itself isn't enough to buy one over the other.

I agree, I don't know what changed but for my last 3 purchases, the brush's hairs have come loose leaving my face and chest covered with brush hair unexpectedly. I have switched to using one of my other makeup brushes because I do love the makeup.

Fairly good coverage for my uneven color skin. Easy to apply - have never tried this product before, so was relieved when it was a good color match and looked smooth after application.

Was so excited to see a cream mineral foundation, especially from the Body Shop! The shade is just about perfect for my olive complexion. But when I added the Body Shop bronzing powder over the top of it, it took care of any small amount of shine or fluctuations I have in color during changes of the seasons making it PERFECT! Love this product!!

Amazing flawless coverage

Even though this is not a powder, it blends flawlessly. I have red cheeks, blemishes, freckles, and this makeup covers it all with an airbrush finish. I am kicking myself for not trying this sooner. Best foundation that I have ever used.

Good foundation!

This is a really nice foundation. It evens the skin tone really nicely but doesn't offer a ton of coverage. I love it because I feel like I can wear it year round and it won't melt off in the summer. It glides on and makes the skin super smooth.
