GREAT FOR DRY SKIN!

I am a regular user of The Body Shop's body butters, and this is one of my favorites! It is not a strong smell, but comforting and won't interfere with anything else or put anyone off. It tackles dry skin and lasts all day. I love the entire line, the soap, shower gel, scrub and beautifying oil. That they don't test on animals and use fair trade products are plusses for me. I like that the corporation has a social conscience, as well as trying and succeeding in making great products. Heartily recommend!

Great Body Butter!

My husband & I both use this, it has a very mild scent (lots of things really give me headaches). It is great for the Colorado winters. My favorite was the Almond but it is now discontinued.

Hands down, my favorite variety of body butter is the olive. It smells so clean and fresh (sort of vegetal with a bit of floral), but it's not overwhelming or artificial like some of the others.

The smell is light, smells a little bit like avocado. It works fine on normal skin. My elbows are cracked and dry in winter, and this product doesn't work at all.

I ADORE this body butter. It's so fresh and clean and works well as a light moisturizer. If you are really dry, you might need one of the other, thicker butters out there but for the scent and say in the summer, this would be ideal.
Truthfully, I buy it for the scent. It reminds me of avocado or cucumber and the scent lingers softly which is nice. It does not clash with any of my other perfumes and it does not have that heavy smell of olives AT ALL. It's more a fruity/floral than anything.
I love it!

LOVELY SMELL

I always buy this body butter lotion.
The scent is very good and doesn't make one smell very feminine for a male-user.
My elbow area tends to get dry but since I started using this the elbow areas are softer.

Have used Body Butter for many many years. The olive is my favorite as it seems to keep my skin the most moisturized. I like the fact it doesn't have as much scent as others. Even my husband who would never use lotion is using it after his shower.

I love this body butter

My face skin is oily but my body is so dry. This body butter just fix my dryness on my body. Smell super good. I wish it came with the jumbo size. Went perfectly with the shower gel. they both make my skin amazingly soft. Love it!

Smells a bit like Avocado to me. The smell is not over whelming and as strong as some of the other body butters. Great every day body butter. Moisturizes nicely, non greasy. Great for a day when you don't wan to smell like a fruit or a flower. I like the hemp body butter as well, yet between the two, the oil oil body butter is more neutral.

Love all things olive!!

Olive body butter is by far my favorite body butter from TBS. The scent is clean & non offensive.. Could be used by male or females. Moisturizes well enough for winter but isn't too heavy for legs, elbows, feet in summer. I always have an extra tub in my closet so I never run out! Highly recommend!

This butter is lighter than expected and clean scent so great to layer with your own ritual. Without exception a great unisex scent too -Family oriented if you have to share.

I can't say enough good things about this Body Butter. I've been using it for about a week and a half, and the improvement in the condition of my skin is visible and palpable- it's soft, silky and smooth now. It provides deep, long-lasting moisture, without being greasy or heavy, and it absorbs into skin quickly. It has a light, pleasant scent to it that doesn't clash with other perfumes. This a great value for the money- I will purchase this again and again!

Best All Around Body Butter

I have used this body butter for years. The fresh clean scent is perfect (no, it doesn't smell like olive oil!) and doesn't clash with perfumes. Even my husband uses it. I apply it after a shower and I'm all set all day. No need to reapply. Years ago, when I was on a strict budget I would give my mom this body butter as her Christmas gift. Oh yeah, and the free trade sourced ingredients tops it off as a terrific product as well.
