I absolutely adore this Body Butter. I use it mostly on my legs after shaving, and it makes my normally very dry legs so smooth!!
After using the Cocoa Body Scrub I use it on the rest of my body as well, and it smells so great and makes my skin so soft!! The smell is a bit nutty and a little bit sweet (it has a bit of a honey scent in it) but not overwhelming at all. I love that it is so subtle!

As Amazing As They Say

After reading so many rave reviews of body butters, plus the $10 sale, there was not much of a reason not to try one and man am I glad I did! I got the Cocoa Butter flavor because I was wary of the fruity scents--thought they would be too sweet. But this smells great! Its subtle and sweet, with a twinge of chocolatey nuttiness. Although it goes on a bit heavy (do NOT get if you have anything other than dry to very dry skin), it is the best body moisturizer I've ever used by a landslide. Also its container is generously big so if its your first time ir simply don't need as much I'm sure the mini will be sufficient. Highly recommend this butter and am looking forward to expirimenting with other flavors, but at least I'll always be able to come back to this one.

I love this body butter! This product is great on it's own but is amazing after using the cocoa butter body scrub. The scent is soft and not overpowering or too sweet; it leaves my skin looking and feeling so soft and smooth.

I never bothered to purchase the cocoa butter scent because of memories of cheap cocoa butter brands and how awful they were. But I decided to finally give it a try when they went on sale. It is very light in scent and not overpowering and of course moisturizes very well without feeling greasy. Well done Body Shop. Need these in a jumbo size if they ever make any jumbo sizes again.

RICH AND CREAMY!

This is my 4th review for body butter and related products! I love this body butter, it is rich and creamy, takes care of my dry skin, and smells great. I have become a real fan of The Body Shop. I've used their products for years, and tried others, but none are as good as these. They also don't test on animals and use fair trade ingredients, so that's a plus for me. The scrub and beautifying oil are great products as well. Highly recommend!

Large Cocoa Butter Body Butter

I bought this body butter on sale for $10 for the large size. It really is great! My skin is so moisturized when I use this after getting out of the shower! My skin feels well protected all day long! This one comes in second place after the olive body butter only because the scent is just a little too sweet for me. And that smell lingers almost all day long. A very fine product indeed:)

Though I was first hesitant about the price (I guess I'm just cheap), this product was well worth the twenty dollars! it is thick and creamy, and a little goes a long way, so i expect to have it with me for a long time. I really like the scent, it is very sweet and natural, as if that is how I normally smell (if that makes sense). My mom, however, doesn't like the smell. To each his own. I now own both the full size and travel container to keep in my purse. I highly recommend this body butter

I do like the cocoa butter. I also tried the passion fruit, but I do not care for the sent.I hope to try a couple others if they go on sale. I'm on a strict budget so I can't afford them otherwise.

Great Moisturizer for Dry Skin

I have extremely dry skin, in fact there are times when I have dry patches appear. It's a horrible mess..!!! i was recommended this body butter when i went to buy a few other things at the body shop. It works great! As soon as you put it on, the moisture is unbelievable and helps a lot if you have dry/itchy skin. The only thing that isn't so great would be the smell, but it fades away in a few minutes and really shouldn't be a problem (:

Works, but SMELLS

I sampled the body butter at the store and they also gave me a take-home sample with my purchase. While it really moisturized my skin, the scent was really overwhelming. It smells like cocoa butter (obviously) so it's almost chocolatey, but very off. I had to wash it off and give the sample to my mom. Turns out, she couldn't stand the smell either and threw it away. So, I'll rate it high for performance and value (for those who actually like the smell) but for me, it loses major points solely because of the scent. Make it less scented, or unscented even, and I'd be covering myself with this stuff from head to toe.
Don't buy this without trying it first, trust me!

I got this for my dry legs. I know that cocoa butter is good for healing and soothing dry skin. I tend to hate the smell of cocoa butter products like palmers BUT this one I love!! It is very light, not srong at all and is one of the only butters that relieves my itchy dry legs in the winter. The texture is amazing too! It is very buttery and smooth. It's like a calming feeling when applying this butter! I will continue using this one!

I went to a dermatologist years ago bec. my arms has been itching during warm & cold weathers, my skin is very sensitive, my doctor gave me a steroid cream to calm them down, but i thought its bad to keep using it all the time. after years and years of trying other products, i came across Palmer's Cocoa Butter, i loved the smell and everything but my sister introduced me to this product, she says how Palmer's is kinda hard and it doesnt take 24 hrs. while this one is really soft and smooth to the skin, so i bought one and tried them out. i loved the feeling how it stays on for too long.. it says 24 hrs. but im not actually up for whole 24 hrs. but i believe this! so from now on, i will start using this product until forever!! i dont itch as much as before anymore and it keeps my skin moisturize on cold weathers!

Like the lotion, not the smell

I really love the body butter products and was assuming I would love the cocoa butter smell but it doesn't smell like I think cocoa butter would. I wasn't sure if it was just me so I had my daughter smell it and she really disliked it. Body butter texture is great tho. I would recommend Body Butter but not that scent

Perfect for winter-dry skin

I use the shea butter lotion to moisturize during the warmer months, but needed a heavier cream for my dry skin during the winter. People stop me and tell me "You smell so good. What are you wearing?" I laugh and tell them I showered!!! (I still wear perfume, but I'm pretty sure it's the scent of the body butter they respond to) It doesn't smell like chocolate to me (not a fan of chocolate,) just nutty goodness. Love this product! Great consistency and easy to apply, doesn't leave me greasy.

I've tried the Coconut and Satsuma body butters, while those were great this is by far the best. My skin was so moisturized and smooth, it even left a beautiful glow. The scent is a very light cocoa butter.

smooth skin, dry skin cure

I never thought I'd find a cure for winter skin but this is it. My hands, especially the cuticles, are healing, the cracks are fading on my feet and my legs and arms don't feel like sandpaper. Using this right after showerig (and using the body scrub). Outstanding.

Soft & Moisturized All Day

I can put this body butter on right out of the shower and stay moisturized all day long. I love it because it's not too thick, not sticky, leaves a bit of a shine, has a wonderful light scent, and makes me glow! I normally don't like body butters but you can't go wrong with this purchase. As a woman of color I have difficulty finding body butters that work well with my skin but this one has not left me disappointed.
