I was hesitant to try this because I thought the scent would be too chocolatey. Not so. It actually smells like vanilla wafers on me, which is cool. I think the scent's staying power would be enhanced by using the body mist.

Good fall/winter lotion

I prefer this scent in the fall/winter, but I do like it. I love most of the body butters, and thought I would give this one a try. I just have to be in the mood for it to use it.

I'm a guy who used one mist & body butter for 10 years. The mist was discontinued so I searched for a new fragrance. At the Body Shop, I fell in love with Chocomania! I layer it with the wash, scrub, & body butter. My wife loves it on me so much that she swoons when I come out of the shower. And, it lasts all day. Please create a Chocomania mist & toilette to top off the whole package for us Chocomania lovers! Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

I love the nutty chocolate smell of this. It does an amazing job of moisturizing. I have noticed like others that if you continue rubbing it in after it starts to get sticky that it will form these little brown pills that I have to wipe off with a towel, this can be avoided by not rubbing it in after it gets tacky and letting it absorb. I did notice this is a bit more firm in the container and did take a bit of digging to get out but once on my skin it just melted. This one moisturizes a bit better then the other butter I have and I did notice that even after washing my hands they still felt moisturized.

This has to be the absolute best body butter I have ever used. I have introduced it to others and they love it as well. What a nice scent! It does a wonderful job softening and moisturizing my skin...especially "winter legs!" I love it and hope it is always going to be available. Now I know exactly what I'll be giving as gifts in the future.

My Least Favorite Body Shop Butter

I love the Body Shop Body Butters. They are rich and excellent for your skin. Since they are based on shea butter plus some other emollients, they all share the same qualities except for smell and consistency. Some, like Olive, are softer, others, like Chocomania, are harder. I don't mind the harder consistency, but I do mind the smell. I am normally a chocolate addict, but this smell is different from the one of chocolate. When I first put the butter on, I thought the smell would eventually dissipate, but it didn't. As the day went on, I disliked it more and more. The solution: I am using it as a foot butter, and I turn to one of the others for the rest of my body. I particularly recommend Olive and Brazil Nuts for women, and Hemp for men, but they are all good as long as you pick a smell you like.

Love in a Little Container

This is the most decadently rich body butter I have ever used. I have to pace myself so that I don't use it all at once! I would be very disappointed if this line were ever discontinued! I'll have to stock up on this pretty soon, I'm addicted to this ridiculously soft skin!

In Love!

I decided to get the mini in the store just to try it, and it immediately became my new favorite body treatment! The smell is so heavenly... Its a light delicious scent that smells like expensive chocolates and I can't get enough. The only bad thing about it is that it leaves a bitter taste on your hands that last which I've never experienced before with other moisturizers. But otherwise I hope this never gets discontinued since I'm using up so much of it.

Doesnt soak in too well

I love this scent- but the texture is kind of too thick or something, it doesn't soak in and leaves a film-like texture to my skin.

Absolutely Wonderful

I got this on sale for less than 10bucks, but I'm hooked and have already bought 2 more. It smells fantastic, and I'm not usually a chocolate girl! It lasts all day, and has definitely helped hydrate my legs, which are plagued by pantyhose all day at work.
I would definitely recommend this, my skin has been noticeably softer.

i live for the smell of chocolate and the chocomania line is very true to form and very delicious smelling. I use the entire line (shower gel, scrub, body and lip butter) together and i seriously hope that it is not discontinued!

I completely in love with this product. The body butter smells amazing and is really moisturizing for my skin. My skin stays moisturized and soft all day but is not oily to the touch. I really hope that they keep this new scent.

I always laugh when lotions/creams claim they last for 24 hrs - and I really laughed when this one claimed 48 hrs! You wash your hands several times a day (and body-wise, I shower every day), even if you aren't a doctor/nurse/preschool teacher/etc. I don't blame the lotions/creams. However, this lotion proved me wrong! Well - the claim is still ludicrous - it won't last 48 hrs - but it WILL last the greater part of 24 hrs despite hand-washing - has definitely surpassed my expectations! Sadly, I'm not madly in love with the scent (prefer coconut) but it's not a bad scent, and the idea of slathering myself with chocolate is yummy and makes up for the lack of awesomeness in scent - all in all, if you need hydration, I recommend this butter over all the others, which i already highly recommend!

I love The Body Shop body butters, I was so hoping this one was like the Coffee you used to have year's ago - but its not. I don't care too much for the scent when first applying, although after its on its soft and nice.

When I first saw this product on in store, I was cautiously optimistic. I love The Body Shop, and I trust them, so I figured I'd give it a try. It was like opening a can of chocolate frosting - the smell was amazing. I was worried that the scent would be too overwhelming once I was wearing it (as some reviews have mentioned) but the scent fades gently after a while. And the level of skin hydration this body butter provides is incredible! Soaks in, stays in.
I've gotten an insane number of compliments on it. Love this product!

The Chocolate smell is too overwhelming!

I tried this product when it first came out and I have to say I was disappointed. The smell of the chocolate is overwhelming and not in a good way. Heaven forbid that you inadvertantly put your finger in your mouth after you have the cream on your hands ... it almost makes one sick!

I have extremely dry skin and this product is amazing. I have always used the cocoa butter, but found chocomania to be even better. I have a few cocoa butters left, but will probably buy chocomania body butter exclusively from now on.
